The Montreal real estate foundation for kids (MREFK) invites you to become an official partner of its major recycling campaign in collaboration with building owners and managers of Montreal

Objective

The goal of the foundation is to financially sustain underprivileged, sick or disabled youth living in Montreal. As a priority, the Foundation’s actions are essentially directed towards the real estate needs of youth oriented non-profit organizations. Since 2004, SITQ and Oxford Properties Group donate their revenues received from the sale of recycled paper in their buildings on a monthly basis. Their participation in this program has helped raise $400,000 so far.

Join this worthy cause!

The plan is to gather an additional $250,000 yearly for the Foundation, through the revenue stream provided by the sale of recycled paper in participating buildings.

Mode of operation

The donations are rendered possible by the revenues generated annually from the sale of recycled paper in participating buildings. Indeed, the sale of paper to recycling firms is a source of appreciable revenue. These sums obtained from the recycling companies will now be donated to MREFK by the program’s partners. The MREFK is calling upon all major Montreal real estate owners and managers to ensure the complete success of this program. Even the building owners who do not presently recycle are invited to actively participate, not only to support the cause, but also to contribute to the protection of the environment.

Helping the children of Montreal who really need it

This campaign answers a real need, as Montreal possesses the sad record of the Canadian city with the highest concentration of youth poverty. This initiative will heighten public awareness to this major problem, and will simultaneously give numerous young Montrealers the opportunity to improve their quality of life.
